Follow leaders who share their WHOLE story (+ VIDEO of my business journey).

Aug 14, 2017

You really have that many employees?

You take 12 weeks of vacation every single year?

You live on a tropical island and regularly travel around the globe for business and for fun? Whaaat?!?!

These are some of the questions I get asked when people meet me for the first time and hear about the businesses I run and the kind of lifestyle I lead.

They get stars in their eyes because they think I’ve achieved some monumental, superhuman feat that is only available to “Special People.”

Most of the time, I think this happens because their brain has done a quick contrast analysis between their current reality and the reality they see me living, and their conclusion is that the distance between those two realities is so great that they could never close the gap.

This is why I believe it’s so important for successful business leaders to be generous in sharing our whole story.

Otherwise, people think that we just woke up one morning with a thriving business, a healthy bank account, a gorgeous family, and a life full of industry awards and international travel. It never happens that way.

I got here today by taking one step after the other. Day by day. I’m not superhuman, but I am focused and driven by personal freedom.

In the video below, I’m sharing more details about my journey than I ever have before.

I’m doing this because I believe that with a fuller picture of my story, it becomes so much easier for you to draw parallels to your own life; to see how you can benefit from my achievements (and mistakes).

The video is only 8 minutes long. If you already own a business or dream of one day being your own boss, I think you’ll appreciate the insights here.

Go on. Press play.

I’m proud of my 20+ years of business success, but I don’t for one second think that what I’ve achieved is a rarity that’s unavailable to you.

Moving from where you are to where you want to be is not impossible. It CAN be done.

Please don’t give up on your entrepreneurial dreams because they seem too far away.

Ask for support. Connect with the right mentors. Do what you’ve got to do to keep moving, keep moving, keep moving.
