A Note from Eric
Hi there,
My name is Eric Edmeades. I’m a South African-born Canadian — a serial entrepreneur and the founder of WildFit, one of the world’s most successful health transformation programs, and Speaker Nation, a global community for professional speakers. My business history spans mobile computing, application development, medical simulation, and Hollywood film production, where I had the privilege of working on James Cameron’s Avatar, Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium, and films in the Terminator, Iron Man, and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises.
I believe in change. Not the kind that fades by Friday — the kind that rewires how you think, lead, and live. I believe lasting transformation is not only possible, it is required. Now more than ever.
We are living through the most disruptive period in human history. Artificial intelligence is reshaping industries overnight. Economic certainties that held for decades are dissolving. Global events are arriving faster than most organizations can process them. In this environment, change is not a challenge to be managed — it is the only constant to be mastered. An executive, a team, or an organization will only ever be as successful as their capacity to adapt. Not occasionally. Continuously.
When I was finishing school, I thought I wanted to be a teacher. Business and life took me in a different direction for many years — but I’ve come full circle. One of my greatest passions is delivering perspectives and strategies that don’t just inspire people in the moment, but actually change the way they operate long after they leave the room.
I am not a traditional motivational speaker. Motivation fades. What I do is different — and if you spend a little time on this site, I think you’ll see exactly what I mean.
Welcome.

UNFORGETTABLE IMPACT
An international favorite, Eric is known for delivering talks that don't just inspire — they change the way people think, lead, communicate and behave.

BUILT FOR
THE STAGE

Most organizations don't struggle because their people lack intelligence or ambition. They struggle because knowing what to do and actually doing it are two different things. Eric Edmeades' work lives in that gap.
As a keynote speaker and transformation architect, he focuses on the mechanics of real behavioral change — how it happens, why it fails, and what it takes to create shifts that last long after the event ends. His work sits at the intersection of evolutionary biology, neuroscience, leadership psychology, and lived entrepreneurial experience.
Eric has spoken in more than 65 countries to audiences ranging from executive leadership teams to large-scale global conferences. He is trusted by organizations that want more than energy in the room — they want measurable shifts in clarity, execution, and accountability.

STOP IT
Understanding why willpower fails — and what works instead
Most organizations do not have a strategy problem. They have a pattern problem. The same behaviors quietly erode performance and culture: procrastination, avoidance, distraction loops, reactive emotion, and stress-based decision-making.
The Stop It keynote introduces a fundamentally different lens on habit cessation. Rather than trying to “fix” people, Eric focuses on the circuitry of behavior itself — its triggers, its neurological rewards, and the invisible loops that keep it alive. This is not about willpower. It's about design.

WRITING THAT MOVES FROM INSIGHT TO IMPLEMENTATION
Across each title runs a consistent theme: transformation does not occur at the level of information alone. It occurs when understanding becomes embodied and actionable.
Eric Edmeades is widely recognized as a leading voice in evolutionary mismatch theory—the hidden gap between the world we evolved for and the world we now live in. He's the author of The Evolution Gap: A Survival Guide for Modern Civilization, and his work is dedicated to one thing: identifying the real root causes behind performance breakdowns—then engineering practical, lasting solutions.
Eric is uniquely talented at seeing what others miss. He doesn't treat symptoms; he tracks patterns back to first principles—biology, behavior, environment, incentives—and then builds strategies that actually hold up in real life. This ability has made him a sought-after keynote speaker and transformation architect for audiences around the world.
Whether he's speaking to thousands or advising leaders behind the scenes, Eric brings rare clarity, high engagement, and a blueprint for change that's both inspiring and immediately usable.
